Hernan Aramberri

Artist Bio

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1966, Hernan Aramberri started his professional career in 1986 not only playing drums in many bands but also working on the musical production of them. He has been dedicated to teaching since 1988. He currently conducts courses and drum clinics on electronic percussion and technology applied to music.

In 1993 he started playing and being part of the technical team in the most important band of Argentina called “Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota,” better known as “Los redondos”. With this band he participated in the last four albums, not only as a musician but also as midi programmer, Protool and Nuendo operator, and he was responsible for recording and mixing. They have played in the most important stadiums of Argentina such as River Plate, Racing Club, Chateau Carrera, Huracán, and in Uruguay too.

From 2002, Aramberri continued his career with “Indio” Solari, ex-leader, singer, and producer of “Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota,” performing as a drummer, producer, and technician responsible for the studio where they record called “Luzbola.” In 2005, next to “Indio Solari” he contributed to the formation of a new band called “Los Fundamentalistas del Aire Acondicionado,” followed by several presentations in different stadiums in Argentina.

Aramberri performs as a musical director for the band, drummer, musical producer, and teacher. And with Gaspar Benegas, guitarist for the band, they travel across the country with a project that is recognized by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Argentina teaching not only musical things but also sharing their knowledge and experiences as musicians.

A Gretsch artist since 2008, Aramberri states his influencers were Tony Williams, Steve Gadd, John Bonham, Neal Peart, Stewart Copeland, Kenny Aronoff, Walter Sidotti, Mc Coy Tyner, Ron Carter, and Chick Corea.
