Nik & Sam, country music’s hottest new duo, may seem like an overnight sensation, but their story has been years in the making. At the age of 10, the sisters began playing traditional country & bluegrass music, with Sam on banjo and Nik on guitar. Within a year, they were wowing audiences in their home state of Arkansas.
Possessing talent far beyond their young age, the girls soon began writing their own music, infusing their individual influences into their style. They have toured extensively and opened for artists like Thompson Square, Randy Travis, Little Big Town, Jason Aldean, Gloriana, Phil Vassar, Kellie Pickler, Kris Allen and SHeDAISY.
Now, at the age of 25, Nik & Sam’s career continues to pick up speed. They have signed a publishing deal with Bicycle Music and are endorsed by Gretsch Guitars. In addition to playing around the local scene in Nashville, they were also a featured performer on the Blake Shelton Cruise in 2012.
Nik & Sam have compiled a catalogue of hit songs, working with Grammy-award-winning writers like Liz Rose (Taylor Swift), Hillary Lindsey (Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill), Brett James (Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Martina McBride), Keith Follese (Faith Hill, Randy Travis), Ashley Monroe (Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert), Nicolle Gaylon (Lady Antebellum) and Josh Kelley amongst others.
Nik & Sam are currently playing around the country as they continue to write music and grow their fan base.
